Lotus Reveales Exige Cup 430: Unlimted Edition

Lotus has unveiled the new Exige Cup 430: Unlimited, which is the most powerful Exige ever fielded by the company. Sporting an obvious 430hp, and a series of chassis improvements to compliment the new-found power, the Exige can accelerate to 60mph in 3.2 seconds. This is achieved through a number of measures, namely power and weight figures.

In terms of weight–ever an important feature for Lotus sports cars–the Lotus barely tips the scales at 1,056kg, although at top speed this is enhanced by the 220kg of downforce produced by the body and the aerodynamic enhancements. Power is achieved through the tried-and-true formula of putting the biggest engine in the smallest car. In this case, that means the Toyota-source, supercharged V6 from the Evora 430.

The Exige Cup is more than likely not available in the US, however the car can be ordered now in Europe and Great Britain.
