HeaderChevrolet Equinox EPA Rated: Sips Fuel, as ExpectedChevyChevrolet has completed the certification process for its 1.6L diesel available in the new 2018 Chevrolet Equinox, completing its three engine, all turbocharged lineup. The tiny diesel allows the Equinox to top its segment in fuel-consumption figures, being EPA rated at 39mpg. This figure beats all of the hybrids in the segment, and in FWD configuration, can travel 577 miles between fuel stops. The tiny engine is equipped with a variable geometry turbo, giving 240lb-ft of torque, essentially all the time.

The 2018 Diesel Equinox is now available.

Chevrolet Introduces myChevrolet App for Apple WatchAppleChevrolet owners who’s vehicles are equipped with OnStar have access to the myChevrolet app, which allows various controls of the car from a user’s smartphone. Now, owners of Apple Watches will also have access to the app through their device, allowing the ability to start and stop the engine, lock or unlock the doors, control the horn and lights, find your vehicle, or receive walking directions to your parking spot.

The app is available now in North America, and can be configured for English, Spanish, and French.
