McLaren Confirms Next ‘Ultimate Series’ Vehicle

McLaren yesterday revealed that the next weapon in the ‘Ultimate Series’ of vehicles armory will be revealed in the first quarter of 2018. Unnamed as of yet, the vehicle joins the P1 and P1 GTR in the Ultimate Series, and will soon be joined by another car believed to be called internally by the codename of ‘BP23’.

This introduction rate matches with McLaren’s stated business model, which goes by the name of ‘Track22’ and has guided all McLaren releases since the 650S in 2016. The new, as of yet Ultimate Series car to be revealed early next year will be the most extreme, track-concentrated road car McLaren has yet designed. While still road legal, the daily usability of the car will be sacrificed to develop the drivers experience.

More details, including the car’s name, will be revealed before the end of this year.

Aston Martin Breaks Ground on Residence Towers in Miami

AM

Aston Martin, partnered with global property developer G&G Business Developments, have broken ground at a new, 66-story luxury condominium tower located in Miami, Florida. Set for completion in 2021, the tower is located at 300 Biscayne Boulevard Way in Miami and represents the company’s first real estate project; the brand merely sees it as a way of expanding their luxury design experience.

The building is set to be fairly striking, being constructed of curvilinear glass and steel and is set to rise on one of the last parcels of developable land on the Downtown Miami waterfront. The building will contain 391 condominiums, ranging from 1-4 bedrooms. No matter the size, the apartment will have vistas of either the Biscayne Bay or the Atlantic Ocean.

The residences and penthouses, which range from 700 to 19,000 square feet, are priced from $600,000 to upwards of $50 million.

The sales center for the Aston Martin Residences at 300 Biscayne Boulevard Way Miami, Florida is open daily from Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm and Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 5pm.

Chevrolet Introduces Midnight and Dusk Editions for Colorado ZR2

ZR2

In what has become a long-standing tradition, Chevrolet has released a new ‘Midnight’ edition of it’s mini-Raptor Colorado ZR2, which is also going to be joined by another special edition, the related ‘Dusk’.

The Midnight-style trim is becoming more and more popular among automakers, and consists of black wheels and black badges, lending a menacing air to the vehicle. The ZR2 is also graced with a black sport bar–think Marty McFly’s pick-up–with a light bar on it, and is available in any body color you want, as long as it is black.

For customers who want the Midnight edition goodies, but want a different exterior color can choose the Dusk edition ZR2, which features the same additions, with any other color offered on the normal ZR2.

The trucks will be at the SEMA Show, from Oct. 31-Nov 3, in Las Vegas, where they will be part of Chevrolet’s display of concept and production vehicles.
