The Trucks of the Los Angeles International Auto Show

While the focus of the Los Angeles Auto show has been on cars and SUV’s there were a quite a few awesome trucks–both OEM and custom–tucked away here and there.
Here are my favorite OEM trucks:
The new JL Jeep certainly qualifies as a truck, due to all the truck things it can do. That, and an actual pickup version is due to be released soon.
I know I said the focus was on SUV’s which this and the Durango are, but these can also tow most anything you need, and can go almost anywhere…..like I said, the truck focus was not strong at this show.
Ford, right across from RAM. Oh, what’s this? I’ll just leave my Truck of the Year trophy right here, no big deal…
Ford is staring down Dodge, and it looks like they couldn’t take the heat and had to turn away.
And here are my favorite custom trucks:
I do not endorse this. It simply exists.
The Rezvani Tank looks like Toyota built an FJ cruiser for 2050. Except this is actually a Jeep.
I have always loved the FJ Cruiser platform, and seeing this supercharged one was a nice surprise.

Viewers of Jay Leno’s Garage will know he has dealings with Galpin, so it should come as no surprise that the dealer built Jay and his crew a custom Ford Expedition camera car.
Well those look comfy…
